Bucharest, the vibrant capital of Romania, is gearing up for an exciting cultural season. Over the next few months, the city will play host to a diverse range of events, including music festivals, classical performances, street art exhibitions, fairs, and photographic art festivals.

The tour "SoNoRo Conac," a series of chamber music concerts held at historical buildings across the country, has already kicked off with concerts at Mihai Eminescu Library in Iași and Casa Numaà in Cluj. For more details, visit here.

Music enthusiasts will be thrilled to know that Bucharest will host several music festivals. The Open Streets Bucharest 2025, scheduled for August 9-10, promises an outdoor artistic program featuring street art, live painting, puppetry shows, acrobatics, and quizzes at venues like Calea Victoriei, Kretzulescu Park, Revolution Square, and the Odeon Theatre.

Other events include the Craft Beer Revolution Festival at Beraria H, Bounty Fair 59 - Septembriada on Șoseaua Pavel, Bucharest Pagan Pride at Casa de Cultură Friedrich Schiller, and Bucharest Photofest, a photographic art festival featuring exhibitions, film screenings, artist talks, workshops, and live music.

In addition, the exhibition "Universe of Salvador Dalí" was previously shown in Bucharest before opening in Cluj and will be on display until April 30. This is one of the largest exhibitions dedicated to the Catalan artist in the country, featuring 170 works.

The Japanese animation festival Izanagi, now at its 5th edition, runs until March 30 and covers nine cities in the country. The theme is persona, and films such as Perfect Blue, Millennium Actress, and Paprika by director Satoshi Kon will be screened. This weekend, the festival travels to Cluj and Sibiu.

Lastly, Jiří Trtík's concert, which presents new compositions for piano and synthesizers, accompanied by a lighting design, will take place at the Czech Center on March 13.
