Virgin Atlantic has opened a new Clubhouse at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), offering a luxurious, Hollywood-inspired experience for passengers. The 4,400 sq ft lounge, designed with old-Hollywood glamour, is the sixth in Virgin Atlantic's portfolio of lounges.
The Clubhouse boasts a stylish interior with sleek, contemporary design, deep purple and red colours, velvet chairs, leather sofas, and Melt lights from Tom Dixon. A full-length glass wall offers a view that makes passing travelers envious, giving a stylish, open-air ambiance.
The lounge's center features a swish cocktail bar, serving non-alcoholic cocktails and canned drinks infused with lion's mane and magnesium. California-inspired dining and cocktails are available, alongside a stellar food and drink selection that includes à la carte dining and a fully stocked bar.
Wellness amenities cater to guests looking to refresh their mind and body before flying. The Zen Den, a compact area at the back of the lounge, offers a glamorous space to freshen up, weights, a yoga mat, and a FORME Studio smart mirror. Three acoustically sealed privacy pods are also available for work or phone calls, decorated with music memorabilia from Branson's collection.
The lounge's highlight is the "Royal Box," an exclusive alcove for passing VIPs, complete with a secret menu for exclusive dining experiences. The menu includes chocolate-dipped strawberries and a Drama Queen cocktail.
As the airline is known for its Hollywood connections, the lounge's atmosphere and location at LAX add to the possibility of spotting celebrities, enhancing the luxury experience with a touch of Tinseltown glamour. Showers and charging stations are also available to ensure travelers can refresh and power their devices conveniently.
Access to this lounge is generally for Upper Class passengers on Virgin Atlantic, Flying Club Gold Tier members, Delta One passengers, and eligible elite members from partner airlines, with the possibility to bring a guest.
