SIHOT & LADE Revolutionize EV Charging for Hotel Guests
SIHOT has teamed up with LADE to revolutionize electric vehicle (EV) charging for hotel guests. The partnership introduces connected onsite charging hubs, offering a seamless and automated experience for EV owners during their stays.
Guests can now charge their EVs using a QR code via smartphone or an RFID key card. The charging process is automatically linked to their hotel account, with top-up charges applied directly to their room bill. This integration is made possible by SIHOT's Property Management System (PMS), which allows hotels to actively manage and control charging processes. The collaboration simplifies payment and billing, reflecting SIHOT's commitment to reducing friction in the guest journey and providing more automated services.
The partnership has already gained traction in Germany and Italy, with interest from prominent establishments like Best Western Hotel Nierstein and Rhine-Main Youth Hostel Mainz. Hotels supporting the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) can integrate existing chargers into the system.
SIHOT and LADE's partnership is set to transform EV charging for hotel guests. By automating the charging process and linking it to hotel accounts, they aim to provide a convenient and hassle-free experience for EV owners. With interest from prominent hotels and support for OCPP, the integration is poised to become a standard in the hospitality industry.
