New offerings added and expanded base vehicle selection for Chausson's 2026 lineup
Chausson Unveils Four New Motorhome Models for 2026
Chausson, a renowned motorhome manufacturer, has announced the launch of four new models for the 2026 season. The new lineup includes two conventional low-profiles - the 797 with fixed single beds and the 798 featuring an island bed - and the existing end washroom 640 model, which will be available on either a Ford chassis (Titanium Line) or a Fiat chassis (Ultimate Line).
The key difference between the Ford and Fiat chassis versions lies in their design aesthetics. The Ford models boast a more modern design, targeting a younger market, while the Fiat models maintain a more traditional design with proven insulation features. The Fiat models feature 100% polyester sandwich walls with Styrofoam insulation, designed for extreme weather resistance and easy cleaning.
Chausson's decision to return to offering more vehicles on both chassis is due to the resolution of Fiat supply chain issues in previous years. The compact low-profile S614 now features a hideaway bed imported from the crossover X range, and the X550 and X650 models have a new washroom design with a swivel partition, an ergonomic basin, and a mirror to limit water splashes.
The Fiat-based overcab models (C727, C656, C514) retain their insulated polyester walls. Meanwhile, Pilote is releasing two Ford-based low-profiles and a campervan with a flexible bed setup. Fleurette has added a longer compact layout and a special edition to its offerings.
Visitors to the October NEC Show can expect to see the latest releases from a wide range of manufacturers, but the Camping & Caravanning Club will not be in attendance. It is not mentioned where the new Pilote and Fleurette releases will be on display.
In summary, the Ford chassis models offer a fresher, contemporary aesthetic, whereas the Fiat chassis variants emphasize tradition and weatherproofing enhancements. Both chassis options expand customer choice for 2026.
