Music School Joins Forces with 'Last Night A DJ Saved My Life' for a Noble Collaboration

In an inspiring move towards community development, our school has joined forces with Last Night A DJ Saved My Life (LNADJ), a global organisation that connects the electronic music community with charitable projects. This partnership aims to support life-changing projects in Sierra Leone, specifically through a community creative hub, in collaboration with WAYoutArts [1][2].

The community creative hub in Sierra Leone will serve as a platform for students to learn a wide range of skills, including music production, photo shop, video editing, and more. This initiative underscores the transformative power of art and music to uplift communities [1][2].

Already, alumni, students, and staff of our school are actively participating in this charitable endeavour. They are donating technology, instruments, production, and DJ gear to Sierra Leone, with one alumnus, Mash P, recently travelling to Sierra Leone to deliver 30 iMacs to kickstart the community creative hub [1][2].

LNADJ, known for raising funds and awareness for various causes, is at the forefront of this movement. By registering with our school, individuals gain access to free courses, plugins, projects, samples, and more. To access these resources, simply visit our school's website and head to the Free Stuff page [1][2].

Jonny Lee, founder of LNADJ, expressed his gratitude for this support, stating that the impact of these donations and the difference they make to the communities confirms the need for initiatives like Get Equipped [1][2].

This collaboration is more than just a partnership; it's a movement that encourages community participation. By harnessing the power of music, our school is proud to be part of a charitable initiative that aims to make a positive impact on lives in Sierra Leone.

  1. Through the community creative hub, students will not only learn various skills such as music production, photoshop, and video editing, but also become part of a fashion-and-beauty movement, as they can express their creativity in clothing and personal style in addition to artistry.
  2. As the initiative expands, food-and-drink workshops could be introduced to the community creative hub in Sierra Leone, providing opportunities for local artists to exchange recipes, spices, and cooking techniques to enrich their culinary skills, and share this knowledge with others through collaborative events and travel experiences.
