Fine Wine Encounter (DFWE) New York to Showcase Champagne's Finest Names
Get ready, wine lovers! The Fine Wine Encounter (DFWE) New York event is set to take place on Saturday, 7th June, 2025, from 11am to 5pm. This all-day event will be held at the Bay Room at Manhatta, located on the 60th floor of 28 Liberty Street, New York, NY 10005.
The DFWE New York event will feature Champagne's finest names, including Laurent-Perrier, Delamotte, Veuve Clicquot, and Drappier. These esteemed Champagne houses will showcase a selection of their finest vintages, ensuring a day filled with exquisite taste and knowledge.
Laurent-Perrier will be presenting their Blanc de Blancs NV, Grand Siècle No 24 (magnum), and the highly-acclaimed La Grande Dame Champagne in both magnum and jeroboam formats, including the 1990, 1993, 2008, 2012, 2015, and 2018 vintages. The 2018 vintage will be launched in May 2025, and the 2008 vintage has received an impressive 97 points. The 2012, 2015, and 1993 vintages have each received 96 points, while the 2018 vintage has yet to be rated.
Delamotte will showcase four wines, including their Brut Rosé and vintage Blanc de Blancs, at the event. Veuve Clicquot will host a masterclass focusing on the evolution of La Grande Dame, while Drappier will showcase their Carte d'Or Brut NV, Brut Nature NV, Clarevallis Extra Brut, and Oenothèque 2006 (magnum).
The masterclass will feature seven exceptional vintages, including six poured from magnum and jeroboam formats. An illustrated guide will be available to help navigate the fizz at DFWE New York, ensuring that attendees can make the most of their Champagne experience.
