JetBlue Expands Operations at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport

JetBlue is significantly expanding its presence at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) with new routes, increased flight frequencies, and an enhanced premium Mint service. Here are the details:

New Destinations

JetBlue will launch year-round, nonstop service from Fort Lauderdale to Atlanta (ATL), Austin (AUS), Norfolk (ORF), and Tampa (TPA). Starting from December 4, 2025, JetBlue will introduce a daily nonstop flight to Tampa (TPA), and five weekly nonstop flights to Norfolk (ORF). Additionally, the airline will resume service to Atlanta (ATL) and Austin (AUS) from December 4, 2025, and December 4, 2025, respectively, offering daily flights for both destinations.

Additional Flights on Existing Routes

JetBlue is adding an extra daily flight on several existing routes, specifically to Las Vegas (LAS), Los Angeles (LAX), Phoenix (PHX), Raleigh-Durham (RDU), and Richmond (RIC). Starting from October 26, 2025, the airline will also offer an additional daily Mint flight to Las Vegas (LAS) and Los Angeles (LAX). Later this year, JetBlue will add an additional daily flight to Raleigh-Durham (RDU) and Richmond (RIC).

Expanded Mint Service

JetBlue will increase the number of Mint-equipped flights from Fort Lauderdale, reaching a total of 13 daily flights to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Phoenix. By December 2025, JetBlue will have nonstop connections to 31 cities with an average of 95 daily departures from Fort Lauderdale.

Mark Gale, FLL CEO/Director of Aviation, applauded JetBlue's plans, stating that the airline's decision to add Tampa and Norfolk to FLL's route map and resume flights to Atlanta and Austin is a significant step in expanding access to a wide range of destinations for South Florida travelers. Dave Jehn, JetBlue's Vice President, expressed excitement about adding more Mint to popular routes from Fort Lauderdale and building on its success.

Later this year, JetBlue's customers will gain greater connectivity and enhanced loyalty benefits through its new Blue Sky collaboration with United Airlines. This collaboration will allow loyalty customers for both JetBlue and United to earn and redeem points on more than 125 flights that depart each day from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

JetBlue's premium, lie-flat service to the West Coast is the only domestic lie-flat offering from Fort Lauderdale for the season. With these expansions, JetBlue is offering more reasons for South Florida travelers to choose the airline for their travels.
