Greifswald, a city rich in history, is set to open its doors for a special day on Sunday, September 14, 2025. The "Day of Open Heritage" is a nationwide event organised by the Deutsche Stiftung Denkmalschutz (German Foundation for Monument Protection) under the motto "WERT-Voll".

The event will also feature an exhibition on Pomeranian legends, two readings in the afternoon, a lecture on historical gypsum fragments from the collection of the Kustodie, and a tour to Frieda Stundl-Pietschmann, who significantly shaped the knitting of Pomeranian fisherman's carpets.
Interesting facts about the Ladebow airport settlement will also be shared during the day. Historical ships can be seen at the Museum Harbour, adding to the day's historical exploration.
