Tourists Reminded of Mongolian Hunting Regulations

The Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) has reported a statement from H.E. Mutlaq Al-Thuwaimer, the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Mongolia, regarding entry requirements for tourists visiting Mongolia.

In his statement, Ambassador Al-Thuwaimer emphasized that a regular tourist visa does not permit hunting activities in Mongolia. Tourists who wish to hunt in Mongolia must obtain a separate hunting license through a different visa process. This is because the standard tourism visa does not include hunting permission.

The ambassador stressed the importance of following Mongolian entry requirements for tourists. Visitors must present proof of a return ticket and hotel accommodation upon arrival. While the ambassador did not specify the penalties for not presenting these documents, he urged Kuwaiti citizens to comply with these requirements.

The requirement for a separate hunting license implies regulated and controlled access to hunting activities for tourists. Tourists applying for the hunting license visa should present their flight tickets and place of residence upon arrival, as advised by the ambassador.

The ambassador did not provide specific details about the special procedures required for obtaining a hunting license or the duration of tourist visas for Kuwaiti citizens traveling to Mongolia. Tourists interested in hunting in Mongolia should contact Mongolian authorities or embassies prior to travel for specific hunting regulations, seasons, species protection rules, and legal requirements to ensure full compliance.

The ambassador's statement did not mention any exceptions to the rule that a regular tourist visa does not allow for hunting activities in Mongolia. He also did not mention any other activities that might require special visas or procedures.

Visitors to Mongolia should take note that failure to comply with hunting regulations may result in visa cancellation, reduced visa duration, suspension, or fines. The ambassador's statement serves as a reminder to all tourists to respect Mongolian laws and regulations when traveling for tourism.

For inquiries or emergencies, tourists can contact the Kuwaiti Embassy in Mongolia at +976 8011 1077 and +976 7744 4441.

  1. Tourists planning for a hunting expedition in Mongolia should be aware that they need to obtain a separate hunting license, as a regular tourist visa does not grant permission for hunting activities.
  2. Beyond the standard tourist visa, a traveler's lifestyle in Mongolia may require engaging with general-news such as the hunting regulations, seasons, species protection rules, and legal requirements, to ensure a lawful travel experience and avoid any potential penalties.
