In the heart of Wiesbaden, at Wilfried-Ries-Str. 22, lies the enchanting Tier- und Pflanzenpark Fasanerie. This unique park is not just a home to a variety of animals and plants, but also a venue for a series of engaging events that bring these fables to life.

On March 3rd, the event "Truly Animalistic" will take place, offering participants the chance to explore the park's animal residents under the guidance of Mara Waldschmidt. This event is part of a series organised by Volker Watschounek and other dedicated individuals.

For those interested in nature and storytelling, the "Reading and Feeding Experience 'Fabulous Animal Stories'" is scheduled for October 28th. Barbara Matuschek, the nature educator, will read captivating animal tales in the morning, followed by a tour of the park where participants can feed various animals.

The park's events are not limited to these. On August 16th, a creative event called "Wood and Cork Organizers" is set for children and adults, allowing them to create organisers from wood and cork.

The fable "The fox has stolen the goose..." is one of the many well-known animal stories that find a home in the park. These stories, with their dramatic twists and universally valid morals, are brought to life in a way that is both curious and entertaining.

The park's events are designed to promote awareness and enjoyment of wildlife. In January, the "Nature experience" series begins, with children becoming scientists in the Fasanerie Wiesbaden. This series aims to inspire a love for nature and learning in the youngest visitors.

Throughout the year, the park hosts events such as the "Tag der Artenvielfalt" (Day of Biodiversity) and the "Tag des Wolfes" (Day of the Wolf), which focus on local wildlife and ecosystems. These events highlight the importance of animal diversity and nature education.

For more information or to register for events, visit the Tier- und Pflanzenpark Fasanerie's website at this link or contact Barbara Matuschek via email at [email protected] or by phone at (0611)5990177. The entrance fee for events is 5,00 Euro.

The Tier- und Pflanzenpark Fasanerie is more than just a park; it's a place where animal and plant fables come to life, offering a unique blend of education, entertainment, and interaction for all ages.
