The Colibri Language Studio has announced an exciting language trip to Licata, a charming town in Sicily, Italy. The trip is scheduled for May 2-7, 2025, and is open for registration.

The language trip offers a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the Sicilian culture, language, and cuisine. Rosario Lo Vacco, a genuine Licatese and the owner of the Colibri Language Studio, will lead the group, sharing his personal experiences and insights about Licata.

During the trip, participants will tour hidden corners of Licata, including insider tips that only a local would know. The itinerary includes visits to the Valley of the Temples and the Scala dei Turchi, a stunning white rock formation rising above the Mediterranean Sea.

One of the highlights of the trip is a day dedicated to the traditional Sicilian dish, Arancini. On Tuesday, May 6, a joint feast of homemade Arancini is planned. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn the traditional preparation techniques for this Sicilian delicacy.

The language trip is a collaboration between the Colibri Language Studio and local partners, offering an opportunity to experience Sicily through the eyes of a true local. The cost for the complete package is 1,449 euros per person.

The trip includes a flight from Düsseldorf to Catania. The last day of the language trip, on Wednesday, May 7, is the farewell to Licata, which will be marked by the festival of Sant'Angelo, the patron saint of Licata. The trip concludes with a farewell from Rosario Lo Vacco.
