**EasyJet Announces 2026 Holiday Plans, Boosting Seat Availability and Expanding Destinations**

EasyJet has unveiled its plans for the summer 2026 season, promising an increase in seat availability and a broadened network of flights across Europe. The airline has released over 29 million seats, a significant boost from previous years, and opened bookings for over 35,000 flights between June 15 and September 13, 2026.

The airline's focus is on providing a wide range of travel opportunities, with popular destinations including Greece, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, and Croatia. Palma de Mallorca, a key destination, remains a significant part of EasyJet's offerings, especially as part of the Balearic Islands attractions.

Son Sant Joan airport in Palma de Mallorca is set to be a central hub for EasyJet's operations, with eight aircraft based in the city to reinforce EasyJet's commitment to the island. Javier Gándara, EasyJet's Southern Europe director, considers Palma a "strategic priority" for EasyJet.

EasyJet Holidays is set to offer more than 8,000 hotel options, suggesting a significant expansion in package holiday deals for summer 2026. Travellers are urged to book early via EasyJet's Low Fare Finder to secure the best rates.

While specific new destinations are not highlighted, EasyJet's broad expansion includes a wide network of routes and increased connectivity. This strategic network allows for more travel options across Europe. The EasyJet release spans over 130 destinations across Europe and North Africa.

Sophie Dekkers, EasyJet's Chief Commercial Officer, emphasises the airline's focus on providing early access to low fares for peak summer travel. Travellers can find affordable fares to Palma for early bookers.

Mallorca's appeal, with its beaches, historic sites, and vibrant capital, remains a draw for UK visitors. However, the island's airport faces potential disruptions from new EU border checks starting in October 2025. Past strikes, such as last summer's cabin crew actions that affected flights to London and Geneva, have also been a concern.

Despite these challenges, the expanded EasyJet schedule positions Mallorca and other destinations for a strong 2026 season. EasyJet operates from 22 airports in the UK, offering flights to and from the UK totalling 87,000 between June 15 and September 13, 2026. Other popular destinations included in the EasyJet release are Alicante, Nice, and Paris.

In summary, EasyJet's 2026 holiday plans revolve around increased seat availability, a broadened network of flights, and enhanced package holiday options through EasyJet Holidays. While Palma de Mallorca is a key destination, the focus is on providing a wide range of travel opportunities across popular European spots.

Travelers planning their summer 2026 vacations can look forward to EasyJet's expanded flight network, with popular destinations such as Greece, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, and Croatia. This lifestyle choice will allow for more travel possibilities across Europe as EasyJet continues to offer affordable fares.
