British Airways Launches Only Direct Flight from London to St Louis in April 2026
British Airways is set to launch a new direct route from London Heathrow to St Louis, Missouri, starting in April 2026. This will be the only direct flight from the UK to St Louis, offering a unique opportunity for British travellers to explore the city's rich history and vibrant culture.
The new route coincides with the 100th anniversary of the iconic Route 66, which passes through St Louis. Flights will operate four times a week, departing Heathrow at 4:45pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, with return flights on the same days at 10pm.
British Airways is introducing this new route as part of its expansion into the US market. Next summer, the airline plans to increase flights to several US cities, including Las Vegas, Miami, and Seattle. This move comes amidst the recent cancellation of budget flights to the US, such as Norse's Gatwick to Miami service and PLAY's cheap American routes.
Flights to St Louis will start from £529 return, providing an affordable option for UK travellers eager to explore the city's attractions, such as the Gateway Arch National Park, Busch Stadium, and Forest Park. British Airways' new direct route is a welcome addition to the UK-US flight scene, offering a convenient and accessible way to experience St Louis' unique charm.
