The ECC title is more than just a snazzy plaque to stick on a city hall. It's seen as a potential economic engine, pumpin' over €56 million into Bielsko-Biała's coffers through the year 2030. Klimaszewski acknowledged that the city's economic development had been on a roll, but with ambitious plans in tow, it was time to lure in tech pros by wavin' the flag of cultural enrichment.
But Bielsko-Biała's not just floatin' on cloud nine. While some see Katowice and Lublin ready to take on the ECC title, Bielsko-Biała's officials lack the hubris to blow smoke.
