The victim, a 19-year-old cyclist from Selm, was riding her bike southbound on Cappenberger Straße when her path crossed with a larger grey car. The impact of the collision caused the cyclist to sustain minor injuries.

The Dortmund Police are actively investigating the incident, which has been assigned case number 0468. The suspect, a male driver, briefly stopped at the scene before fleeing. The exact details of the car model or the driver's identity have not been released by the police.
