Yakutsk, the largest city in Siberia and the capital of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), celebrated its 393rd anniversary over the past weekend. The city's birthday celebrations attracted a diverse crowd, including locals, tourists from other countries and regions, and residents of Yakutia's districts.

The data provided from the event revealed some interesting insights. Approximately 60% of the attendees were women, and the most common age group among them was between 35 and 44 years old. Slightly over half of the attendees led a healthy lifestyle.

Participants and spectators from 52 regions of Russia were present, with residents of 33 districts of Yakutia also attending the celebrations. Together, these groups made up almost 20% of all attendees. Visitors from the most remote settlements of Momsky, Srednekolymsky, and Abyisky districts of the republic were also present.

In terms of the number of attendees, apart from Moscow and St. Petersburg, the leaders included Primorsky Krai, Novosibirsk Oblast, Irkutsk Oblast, Khabarovsk Krai, and Krasnodar Krai. The most numerous foreign visitors to the City Day were guests from China and Kazakhstan.

The regions of Russia with the most visitors at the celebrations for Yakutsk's 393rd anniversary were primarily neighboring areas within the Sakha Republic and other parts of Eastern Siberia.

The use of big data analysis in event organization reflects the regular holding of republican and city-scale events in Yakutia, aimed at attracting tourist flows to the region. Anonymized big data was used to analyze visitor flows during the event. The analysis of visitor flows helped assess the outcomes of the event and understand the tourist load on the region.

The director of MTS in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Prokopy Neustruev, noted these points. The data obtained from the analysis will be used to focus on audience needs and attract additional visitors if necessary.

This approach to event organization is a testament to Yakutsk's growing status as a tourist destination. With its unique culture, stunning natural landscapes, and increasingly diverse crowd, Yakutsk continues to draw visitors from all corners of Russia and beyond.
