Annual International Festival Set for November 22 at Park University
Park University's International Festival Returns on November 22, 2024
Get ready for a global celebration as Park University's Office of International Education hosts its annual International Festival on November 22, 2024. The event will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. on the University's Parkville Campus.
The festival will showcase Park University's international students representing their native countries and sharing the unique and diverse characteristics of their homeland. Students from the University's International Center for Music will also perform, along with Three Trails Taiko, a Kansas City area organization.
From 5 to 6:30 p.m., an international buffet will be served, featuring foods from each continent. The price for the buffet is $16 for the public, while Park students and employees on a meal plan can eat free with their Park ID.
Information booths and cultural activities will be available from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Mabee Learning Center/Academic Underground. At 7:30 p.m., the event will move to Graham Tyler Memorial Chapel for a fashion show and cultural performances.
The International Festival will feature countries from the Bahamas, Bangladesh, Gambia, Ghana, Nigeria, Thailand, Uzbekistan, and Zimbabwe.
