Air Canada Upgrades Economy Flights: Free Drinks, Snacks, and Canadian Treats
Air Canada has rolled out a significant upgrade to its in-flight service, effective September 1, 2025. The airline is now offering complimentary beer, wine, and snacks to all economy passengers, including those on flights to the Caribbean and Mexico.
The enhanced service, which was previously available only on select routes, is now standard across Air Canada's entire network. Passengers can enjoy a taste of Canada with exclusive Canadian snacks featured in the premium snack baskets and bistro. Among the local brands represented is MAC Cosmetics, a Toronto-based company established in 1984.
Air Canada's decision to extend complimentary drinks and snacks to all economy passengers is a significant improvement in service. The inclusion of Canadian brands in the in-flight offerings provides a unique touch, allowing passengers to experience a taste of Canada even before they land.
